2018 Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo to host discount ticket event

WACO, Texas – The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo, presented by H-E-B, is an annual event full of entertainment and agriculture. The Fair & Rodeo will begin Thursday, October 4 and conclude Saturday, October 13 at the Extraco Events Center. The producers of the Fair & Rodeo are offering a one-day deal for discounted tickets available to the public.

The Extraco Events Center box office will hold an event for the discounted Fair & Rodeo tickets from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25. For those who come to the event, the tickets will be $7 for patrons ages 9 and up. Kids ages 8 and under get in for free. Attendees will be able to buy a maximum of 20 tickets at the discounted price. Drinks and desserts will be served, and our Fair & Rodeo sweethearts will be there to interact with all of the guests.

“The ‘Ticket Blitz’ is a great way to educate our fairgoers on our new pricing at the gate and increase advance ticket sales,” Charva Ingram, Vice President of Marketing & Sponsorship Development, said. “This is an excellent opportunity for fairgoers to purchase tickets at a fifty- three percent savings, experience thrilling rodeo, live entertainment and create lastingmemories.”

After this event, general admission tickets for everyone ages 9 and up can be purchased online or at the Extraco Events Center box office for $10 prior to October 4. Tickets purchased at the gate any time during the week of the fair will be $15 for everyone ages 9 and up.

Another ticket option for patrons who enjoy attending carnivals is the 10-day Funpass, which can be purchased for $65 at the box office and participating CEFCO Convenience stores.

A season pass is available for $50 for those who do not want to ride any of the rides but want to come to the fair on multiple days. This ticket option can be purchased at the box office as well.
